Write every fear, every concern. Write every hope or dream you’ve had. Write everything you want to happen and everything you are afraid might happen. Now is the time to let it all out.
When you are complete with the paper, write your biggest hope and your biggest fear here? What are you most afraid won’t happen and what are you most afraid will?

Now, let it all go. Let go of the fear and let go of the hope, as well. Tear up the paper. Our hopes and fears are based on the information we have stored in memory. Either way, it will be freeing. How does it feel for you?
This response will be awarded full points automatically, but it can be reviewed and adjusted after submission.
As much as I know we must release our fears, I know we must also release our desires. For me, this has often been the more difficult of the two to release. I thought I knew the way everything should happen and if I could just get it to go my way, I believed life would be good. It seldom works this way.
Our ideas of how things should be are limited to the perception we hold and the rules we learned as children about how to survive. They aren’t always the full picture.
Of hope and fear, which is easier for you to release? Why?

As you let the rain wash over you, cleansing everything from your pool, take some time to savor it. Take time to feel the clean, clear water against your skin. Connect with how it feels to move in it. Spend some time with your new pool. How does it feel to be in this new space? Who are you here?
